The SLT4BAT Eartec replacement battery provides power to the Simultalk 24G Wireless Communication System transceivers. It should be charged within 48 hours before each use and does not need to be drained. Charge the battery for 6 hours, and to prevent damage or overheating, do not leave the charger plugged in for more than 12 hours. A fully charged battery will operate in full duplex mode up to 4.5 hours and up to 8 hours if switching to standby mode periodically.

The Simultalk 24G Full Duplex 2-Person Communication System by Eartec provides hands free wireless conversations between instructor and student. Transceivers send and receive radio wave messages using two different frequencies—a full duplex format—allowing instructor and student to talk simultaneously without pushing buttons. Simultalk 24G is an analog system consisting of master and remote units that operate in the 2.4 GHz non-licensed frequency band and can be used anywhere in the world. Adding additional Remote 24G Radio units to an existing Eartec Simultalk 24G Wireless Communication System will allow more riders to continuously monitor the instructor's Master Radio. When more than two transceivers are in use, riders cannot hear one another, but all will be able to simultaneously hear the instructor. If desired, individual riders can take turns switching from standby (listen only) to continuous talk operation to converse with the instructor.
