The Cavallo™ Sport Slim Sole Hoof Boot is a lightweight, sleek design made for a narrower hoof and lighter riding. This hoof boot offers all the performance and versatility you’ve come to expect from Cavallo, with a stay-put fit and easy on/off. It’s shaped to suit a more oval hoof shape than the Cavallo Simple boot, which has a rounder shape. It’s perfect for light riding and to use to comfort chronic pain, hoof sensitivity, injuries, abscesses, navicular disease, laminitis/founder, puncture, sole bruising and contracted heels. It’s also helpful as protection during trailering and bleeding, and is easily carried on trail as a precaution against a lost shoe.

Designed with a natural shape to eliminate the need for shims, the Sport Slim Sole Hoof Boot has leather inside and out to conform comfortably to your horse’s heel bulbs. The tough 1,000 denier upper has a Softee leather foam-filled collar for horse comfort and reflectivity for great visibility. The easy-to-use front fastening is made of industrial grade VELCRO® straps.

The sure-footed outsole is made of specially formulated thermo-plastic-urethane (TPU) with built-in drainage and a waterproof tread. It features a built-in breakover allowance, a unique tread pattern that supports the frog, an innovative natural heel (skid) brake and a molded back flap for bulb protection and abrasion resistance. Lightweight and shock-absorbent, the sole also has an integrated high-density inner rim that supports the load bearing hoof wall. Pair.
