The Pessoa Story

Nelson Pessoa and his son, Rodrigo, are champions by anyone’s standards. AMS® Panels

The Renaissance Collection is Tredstep’s reinterpretation of classically designed riding boots. Filled with features for unparalleled performance, comfort and fit, each boot is expertly crafted from exquisite leather and with elegant lines. Bayflex® Panels

Bayflex is a type of memory-flex polyurethane developed by BAYER® for padding purposes. Bayflex adjusts itself to different pressures and maintains its protective properties without losing its shape. Offering great cushioning without bulk, it doesn’t bottom out, heat up or cause hot spots as it adjusts itself to a horse’s back to distribute pressure evenly. Once removed from a horse, Bayflex resumes its original shape, making saddles with Bayflex panels ideal for those who ride multiple horses.

X-Change® Interchangeable Gullet System

Many Pessoa saddles feature the XCH® system. It allows the rider to modify the width of a tree from narrow to extra-wide using interchangeable gullet plates. Simple and easy to use, the system doesn’t change the integrity or look of the saddle. it doesn’t bottom out, heat up or cause hot spots as it adjusts itself to a horse’s back to distribute pressure evenly. Once removed from a horse, Bayflex resumes its original shape, making saddles with Bayflex panels ideal for those who ride multiple horses.
