PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Samshield® XJ Helmet
The Samshield® XJ Helmet has an outer shell made of carbon fiber, a composite material providing an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio. Its inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density, providing a better dissipation of the energy produced upon impact.
The internal comfort ‘‘memory’’ foam ensures a constant thickness over years of use, and the semi-rigid leather chin strap cancels out all risks of tipping the helmet in case of a violent movement. This internal comfort pad is removable thanks to a strong clip system and can be washed repeatedly.
Equipped with two front air inlets, the XJ helmet provides exceptional ventilation: fresh air which flows from both the front entrance under the blason as well as the channel obtained by the unique concept of no contact on the rider’s forehead expels the hot air to the back extractors.
The inner shell of the XJ is designed according to a thorough anthropomorphic study to create unmatched comfort.
The two shell sizes of the XJ can accommodate five to size different sizes of comfort pads to obtain a perfect adjustment to the rider’s head and to have the possibility to follow the growth of a young rider.
The XJ helmet ensures security, ventilation, stability and unmatched comfort. It is certified to CE VG1 01.040 2014-12, BS VG1 01.040 2014-12, PAS015 and ASTM/SEI standards.
