EASY-CHANGE WIDE™ Complete Gullet System Kit

This EASY-CHANGE™ WIDE Complete Gullet System Kit is intended for use in Bates, Wintec and Arena WIDE range saddles featuring the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System. For standard (regular) tree Bates, Wintec and Arena saddles, see EASY-CHANGE Gullet System Complete Kit.

NOTE: Do not use an EASY-CHANGE WIDE System gullet in a regular tree saddle.

This kit contains all four of the interchangeable WIDE gullet plates. It also contains an EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge and extra hardware for fitting them in your WIDE saddle. Note: the 2XW plate is fitted as standard in new WIDE saddles.  

The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System WIDE is exclusive to the WIDE range of Bates, Wintec and Arena saddles. It lets you alter the width of the Elastiflex tree in your saddle. The Elastiflex tree is supported by the rigid gullet at the head, and possesses true lateral flexion to work with your horse’s muscles. The tree width is determined by the size of gullet plate fitted between the tree points. The gullet plate governs the width of the tree from the twist to the tree points.

Genuine EASY-CHANGE WIDE Gullet Plates are engineered to be completely rigid, ensuring they cannot spread or change shape under normal usage. Gullet plates are color-coded by size and will remain true to their size throughout their life. Only genuine EASY-CHANGE WIDE Gullet Plates are accredited for use in saddles featuring EASY-CHANGE WIDE Gullet System. The use of non-genuine component parts, or standard EASY-CHANGE Gullets, will void any manufacturer warranty.
