PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: ThinLine® Sheepskin Comfort Half Pad
Give your horse the ultimate in comfort and protection with the ThinLine® Sheepskin Comfort Half Pad, the preferred pad of some of the world’s top riders. In an improved design, this half pad boasts:
- Increased ThinLine coverage.
- Shorter band of sheepskin under the spine to provide extra clearance.
- Raised wither profile to accommodate most horses’ toplines.
- Heartier cotton quilt for longer wear.
As always, ThinLine material effectively distributes weight and pressure evenly across the half pad to provide customized support and relief.
Note: Full-length, trim-to-fit shims, sold separately, are available for this pad.
About Shims
With the assistance and recommendation of a qualified saddle fitter, shims can help adjust the fit of a saddle on an asymmetrical horse or help fit a saddle that may sit a little low or may be slightly too big. Shims or inserts will not help the fit of a saddle that is too tight, and in fact can make the tight fit worse.
If you would like help concerning shims/inserts and correction pads, customer service representatives in our call center and retail associates in our stores are trained and eager to help.
Made in USA.
Dry between rides, sheepskin side up, out of the sun. Once dry, lightly brush to keep wool resilient and fluffy. To wash: Hand or machine wash cold in front-load washer using a sheepskin wash. Hang dry out of direct sunlight; gently stretch hide occasionally while drying. Lightly brush wool once fully dry.
Medium (for 17"-17 1/2" saddles), Large (18" saddles and larger).
