Neue Schule Demi Anky Loose Ring Bit has an 18 mm Salox® Gold mouthpiece and 70 mm stainless steel rings. This bit design is often recommended for the rare occasion when a horse does not like a lozenge or the double joint, occasionally leading to a ‘busy’ mouth. The cleverly curved mouthpiece offers tongue comfort while it eradicates the uncomfortable action and consequent problems that the traditional straight-armed single jointed snaffle often causes.
Salox Gold mouthpiece metal is a high copper alloy specifically formulated to reach rapidly and maintain the temperature of a horse’s mouth, and thereby encourage bit acceptance.
